Welcome to December Designs Inc. My name is Donna Pixler and I have been working in the field of graphic design for more than 15 years. In 1991 I graduated from Lander University in South Carolina where I received a BA in fine arts with an emphasis in graphic design. Shortly after, I landed my first job at a weekly newspaper designing advertisements, editorial graphics and section covers. The rest, so they say, is history. I have worked for advertising agencies, a web design company and a real estate company. I have designed just about any printed piece you can think of from brochures and catalogs to banners and billboards. My web site has only a small portion of my print work from the past few years. In 2002 I began working in web design and I absolutely love it! Web design gives me the instant gratification that I crave. My background in fine arts gives me the advantage of having the technical skills plus an artist's eye.
In late 2004 I stopped working full time to start a family. My husband Chris and my 2 young children are my greatest joy and my top priority. I now work as an independent designer. My husband and I formed December Designs Inc. in 2007.
I have a fine eye for detail and use of color. I research what's new and stay abreast of the latest design trends. My passion for good, clean design and my desire to satisfy both my clients and myself are my greatest assets. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact me.
